Ringing & Singing in the Rain with Patricia Beck
Debbie Reynolds has an ActiveRain Challenge this month to "phone a friend" whom we have never had a conversation with. Now this is a bit difficult since most of my subscribers I usually pick up the phone and make a call, or they do.
Patricia Beck has emailed back and forth trying to give me referrals, but we had never spoken. She was such a delight to talk to after all this time! Patricia is with ReMax Properties in Colorado Springs and has been a REALTOR® for 10 years. Her passion is working with first time home buyers and teaches seminars which includes many working at the military bases in Colorado Springs.
She began blogging in January 2007, but has not been active for a long time, and a good reason - she has a 5 month of baby boy, which challenges her both for real estate hours and blogging. This is her first child, and has been married for 11 years.
She loves to travel and has been to Italy, France, Spain, Greece and Hawaii. She loves fishing and has been deep sea fishing, loves running and runs nearly every day for a couple of miles weather permitting. She said she rain through her whole pregnancy.
Patricia is full Greek and has plans to teach her son to speak the language to continue her heritage. She lived in Aurora, then moved to the Springs and love it due to the close proximity to the mountains, the small town feel and all the outdoor activities then can enjoy.
We had a delightful conversation, and nice to get to know her more than just our emails back and forth. Some day we shall meet in person! If you have not read her posts, please go over and meet her!
