Upcoming Events at Everbank Field
Everbank Field isn't just for Jaguars football. There are many upcoming events at Everbank Field, including the Jacksonville Armada Football Club, bringing the North American Soccer League to our fair city.
The Armada plays the Philadelphia Union, Saturday, February 7, starting at 5:30 PM. Tickets may be bought for as little as $10, so there's really no reason not to catch what promises to be a very fast paced and exciting game with new players just added to the team. The Argentinian trio of Hoyos, Scaglia and Trejo join veterans Pasco Millien and David Sierra, who are new members to the Armada Football Club as well.
The Armada will also play FC Edmonton on Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 PM. The Armada is currently ranked 6th in the NASL, and FC Edmonton is ranked 3rd, so this should prove to be a very exciting match between the two teams. The new players will have had time to blend with the team, so the level of play may be even more exciting than in the February 7 game.
Monster Jam is back again on February 21 at 7:00 PM. Monster Jam delights attendees of all ages, and this year's 12 foot tall by 12 foot wide Monster Jam monster trucks weigh at least 10,000 pounds and sit atop of 66 inch tires (that's over 5 feet tall, wow!) These humongous vehicles can fly up to 125-130 feet after building up to speeds of 100 mph, and they can fly as high as 35 feet in the air. SuperValue tickets start at $10 - an affordable evening for the gear head family members.
