It sold for $110,000 with an asking price of $139,900 in just 13 days on the market.

Most expensive home reported sold in Forest Park IL

The most expensive home reported sold this past month in Forest Park was a new construction 4 bedroom, 3 full & 1 half bath home on a 31 x 140 foot lot in the 100 block of Rockford Ave. It sold for $518,000 after being on the market for 4 days with an asking price of $524,900.

Per the MLS, it had hardwood floors in the main living areas, an open concept first floor with a custom kitchen, and a finished basement. All this in walking distance to downtown Forest Park, River Forest & transportation.

 

Sold Deal Of The Month in Forest Park IL

In my opinion, the best deal of the homes sold this past month was a 4BR, 2BA single family home in the 500 block of Elgin Ave, that sold for $203,500 (asking price $249,900). It was a foreclosure in need of updates throughout, but these buyers got a great deal in a fantastic location.

 

Foreclosures & Short Sales in Forest Park IL

1 of the homes sold this past month in Forest Park were short sales and 5 were foreclosures.
