CANADA'S BEST KEPT SECRET-SPEECHLESS SUNDAY
Wow.... Most of Canada is normally under Snow in January..Not in Victoria, BC
In Fact this past January the typical Temperature was around 12-14 C (=Plus 50F) while the rest of Canada was in the minus temperatures and knee deep in Snow.
Is this Normal for a Victoria Winter, it maybe a little warmer than normal.
Just so you know Victoria Winter is usually always Mild with No Snow!!
They Even Grown Palm Trees in The City of Victoria's Beacon Hill Park.
Well said, Fred...we are lucky on this thin strip of coastal paradise! Salt Spring & Victoria share this climate gift.
Fred- silly Floridian me, I just figured that if you're up north and in Canada, you'd have snow and cold weather in the winter. Your picture of the trees is just beautiful.
I had no idea you lived in this sliver of warmth. We have more snow on the way here in New Hampshire.

Hi Joan Whitebook Most of the Pacfic Northwest has our mild Weather, it's all due to the Vast Pacfic Ocean, which is about 50F year round, Heat and Cooling our air.
