Thursday, January 29th, 2015 was The Cinco Ranch Ladies Club first wine social of the year.
The wine club met at Elizabeth Hanson’s home she is our President and over sees all the clubs. I am glad it was scheduled for later than usual because otherwise I would not have been able to attend.
Our hostess had decided that the theme will be French wines and she has asked us to bring a French appetizer or dessert to share as well.
There were many attendees and there were a couple of new recruits I brought in one of them actually lived in Napa and had worked at several high end wineries. My favorite of the night was a 2011 Chateau La Croix Des Moines from Lalande de Pomerol. There were several good wines there last Thursday it was hard to decide. It also was a lot of fun looking forward to this month’s social already.
