Paying for College or Technical school after high school has become a major problem and expense for many families in the US and for that matter across the whole world. A Workshop in Katy TX covering how to pay for College or technical school will be held on on Saturday February 7, 2015 which will discuss these complex issues. This workshop is being presented by the Katy ISD’s Financial Information Academy.

This workshop is being held at the Education Support Complex( Katy ISD) which is located at 6301 S. Stadium Lane Katy TX. or near Historic Katy. The workshop is free of charge and requires no pre registration. There will be two sessions to pick from being Session 1 - 9 :00 AM to 11:30 AM and session 2 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. This program is available to parents of Katy ISD students and is free of charge.

The emphasis of the session is for attendees to learn how to plan and pay for either College or Technical School expenses. There are many programs available each year which are unknown and no one takes advantage of their potential financial assistance. Attendees will learn how to save for higher education, complete the FAFSA form, apply for scholarship, and much much more.

Presenters include but are not limited to Collegiate Avenues, Discover Student Loans, The College money Guys, Wealth design Guys and several more. Several booths will available for visiting and learning.

Normal American families these days are struggling with finding funds for higher education and many students are ending up saddled with serious debt upon graduation. Hopefully workshops of this nature will provide folks in the local Katy community with some ideas and helpful suggestions. Paying for college or after high school education creates a huge amount of stress for all involved.
