Good Monday morning everyone-Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day with temps in the 60's. and I went out in the yard to start Spring clean up.  This is one of the things I did.

3 bags of leaves

Now as we all know an extra set of hands always helps get things done quicker and easier but since I don't have anybody else to help I had to settle for these and they were a BIG HELP

MY HELPING HANDS

Now while I was outside slaving away in the yard my kitty Shadow was enjoying the sun herself but she did it KITTY STYLE.

SHADOW ENJOYING THE SUN

Well it is another nice Spring like day at 51* so I am headed out to get some more work done before the rain later. Have a super Monday everyone. Hope your day is sunny and bright.

Happy Monday Sharon! Mother Nature was kind to us yesterday, with mild temps in the high 40's-low 50's. But today she was right back to business with a forecast high of 31. Enjoy your Spring weather!

Good morning Sharon, hope you'll continue to have spring like weather so Shadow can enjoy the sun. You've got some big hands to help you with the yard work.

Love more worry less as a saying is a good one. I love how Shadow basks in the sun. Taking in the warm rays. Don't work too hard with all the outside stuff, it will make the back hurt.

Hi Sharon -- seeing the results(those three bags) of our labor is one of the most satisfying things in life in my opinion.    Here's to more good weather coming your way.

Love more, worry less, and weed often. :) That sounds like a plan for great happiness. Glad you got outside today, Sharon. It's very nasty here. YUK.

Sharon Lee ~ even though Shadow  looks very satisfied, I have sneaky feeling she would have loved  to be right  next to seeing what he could  conjure up

We compost our leaves right on our property, we only remove them from decks and the driveway.

Shelia-It is a chore so I need all the enthusiasm I can get. Those hands are a great help.

Kristin-Winter in your area can be brutal. Have a great Tuesday

John-What a difference a day makes. Rainy and 35 today but it is winter after all. I bet Shadow would like that if she was an outdoor kitty

Joe-Winter does have its ups and downs here as well because today is 35 but I know your area is colder than Va. Happy Tuesday

Beth-Yesterday was the warmest day that we will have for a while. Those hands are great.

Gary-i thought that was a good saying as well. Yes Shadow has the good life. With the back it hurts regardless if I work outside or not so I just have to sit often to relieve the pressure. Life goes on.

Alexandra-Think it is a short but excellent quote. Kitties do like to sit where it is sunny and warm. Shadow loves that window.  Have a super week as well.

Michael-You are so right it is satisfying and when I finished yesterday until nicer weather again I had 9 bags full. I couldn't see out the back or side windows.  Rainy and 35* today

Noah-Relaxing in one sense but not for the back but it is a neccessity

Debb-Nasty here today with rain and possible snow but at least I got a start.  I like the Love more, worry less but NOT the weed often part. Smiling

Jon-Shadow isn't an outdoor kitty but she does love laying next to me. She is a good GIRL.

Tammy-I normally don't have to rake them but they had gathered around the fence and the front yard. I should compost and maybe will do that at some point.

I'm loving this western weather. How is it the east is hit so hard this winter, I'll never figure such things out.

Have to admit though- I want a pair of those leaf claw scoopers.

Chuck-I am too although AZ is warmer in winter than Va. I don't miss the snow I dealt with in NY for many years but it still gets colder here than I even like now. I guess I got spoiled. I love those leaf scoopers. They make a tedious job less difficult. Have a great day

I thought for a minute that I was reading an older post, forgot where you are and that you are not covered in snow like us, LOL. At the rate we are going (2 more storms predicted this week) I may never see leaves again!

Shadow is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing a picture of her.

I have some fall yard cleanup to do. Maybe Mike will get it done when he gets back into town. The company had him over in Glenwood Springs for four days. He'll be back tonight.
