Why You Will Find a Great Lender on Active Rain !

The Role of a Mortgage Lender is Changing!

There is great news about Millennials beginning to hit the age where they should be looking to buy a home. They have completed their education, and the 26 to 36 year old survey respondents say they want to own!

This is great news for a lender that learns to find and communicate with, that age group. That means you better be able to perform digitally! From application to explaining the process, the loan officer has to be able to provide these services the way this group expects to find them.

Our role has evolved to more of a consultant, especially for first time home buyers. It is imperitive we be able to take applications, accept e-signatures and handle digital files with security.

Quality loan officers will not be replaced by on-line banking, there are too many nuances to what we do. But we have to step up our D game and become expert at digital communication and marketing.

If your loan officer embraces the Active Rain platform, they likely realize they need to stay ahead of the pack and up with the trend!

Matt, my millenials really love my old fashioned guy who, unlike a lot of the online guys, knows how to get them to settlement with minimal hassle.

Matt - I read an interesting article about millenials who trust no one and are becoming very conservative in their investments - Ben Franklin is alive and well!

Hi Patricia Kennedy,

It is true, loyalty is making a comeback, partly because the new generation knows they cannot trust everything that others post. Once you have them you can keep them!

Hello Lise Howe,

I hope some of your Ben Franklin's show up in congress!
