I stepped on the scale the other night for the first time in 3 months. I gained weight. I'm working full time in mortgage lending, doing an MBA program for finance, and detailing cars on the side. Life couldn't get any crazier right? How can you even find time to exercise? I found a solution and I'm starting this on Sunday.
Below are exercises that can help you exercise and maintain or lose weight.
- Push Ups: Strengthen your core muscles and tone your entire body with push ups. Start by doing 10 per day for a week, and then try for 15 the next week, and 20 the week after, and so on... You will begin feeling stronger before you know it!
- Plank: This one is for the yoga crowd, and push ups will definately help this yoga stretch. Plank is where you hold yourself in push up position but you don't go down to the floor, you stay up. I recommend looking up the 30 day plank challenge for images and a workout plan that does work. This pose is another core building exercise that over time will burn away the belly fat!
- Squats: This is a great execise that works your glutes and thigh muscles. Add some weights to this exercise and you can increase the results.
- Walking & Diet: Walking has been proven to help with weigh loss and increase your brain activity throughout the day. Diet plays a large roll in weight control and functionality throughout the day. I recently cut out energy drinks, fast food, and fancy coffee drinks, and I honestly can say I feel much better going to bed, waking up, and being active throughout the day. The next part I'm working on is the above exercises. Those in combination will help me loose weight and can help you too!
Good luck!
