Today's Best NY Times Headline - for laughs.

A biker is riding by the zoo, when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage.  Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker  jumps off his bike, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch. Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A NY Times reporter has seen the whole scene, and addressing the biker, says, " Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I saw a man do in my whole life."

"Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind  bars. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt  right."

"Well, I'll make sure this doesn't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist from the New York Times , you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this on  the first page. By the way, what kind of motorcycle is that and what political political party do you belong to?"

"Not that it matters but I ride a Harley Davidson and I am a Republican. "

The  journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys The New York Times to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on first  page:

Thank you - that made me burst out loud with laughter. Great way to end the day!

That's messed up, but a fairly accurate portrayal of the media at large.

LOL!! Too bad it's so close to the truth with reporting!

Cute!  Pretty accurate though...  Living in Europe in my early twenties exposed me to an entirely different way of looking at everything, due to the absence of the American media's slant on things...

I joined the musical group, but I have to warn you, I am te LEAST musical person in the World.  I appreciate it though, so I guess that qualifies me for membership.  I hear the music in my head, but it never sounds like that once it leaves my vocal chords.  My daughter tells all her friends that I could easily win that "American Idol Hall of Shame" Grand Prize.   I feel sorry for anyone listening to my singing, but I will gladly prove just how utterly lousy I am at it.  Than God I can Dance!

Another reason not to trust the media, lol :)  Thanks for the laugh!

Good one, thanks!  Unfortunately, I have no memory of any of the many concerts that I attended.
