Lewisburg Rotary Has Heart
The Lewisburg Rotary Heart Fundraiser was a big success and was a very busy two days for the Lewisburg Rotarians. Thursday, Martha Hilton baked 80+ heart-shaped cakes with assistance from Lori Taylor and Julie DeLorenzo. Friday, icing was made, cakes iced and cherries added to the top. Then it was time for deliveries and/or pickups just in time for Valentine's Day.
This fundraiser was for the Children's Home Society of Lewisburg. A total of 80 cakes were sold at $7.50 each. All proceeds of the fundraiser will go to the the Children's Home Society.
Many thanks to Lewisburg United Methodist Church for the use of their kitchen, and to Walmart for the great cake boxes for the Rotary Has Heart fundraiser.

Finished and ready for deliveries.
My husband and I enjoyed our cake. It was light, and not too sweet, a perfect Valentine Cake. Thanks to Martha Hilton for all her hard work for this Valentine Fundraiser.
