The Oaks
Location
The Oaks are located on the west side of Hendersonville, and are just a short drive to Historic Downtown Hendersonville, shopping, fine dining and access to theater and all major local events. You will find this 
community off of Haywood Road, yeilding easy access to the Asheville airport, as well as the west side of Asheville, and the Brevard area.
The Community
Know for the natural setting they reside in, the Oaks has maintained a large number of older trees, and the grounds are meticulously cared for, with a burst of colors in the spring, and throughout the summer. This makes it a pleasure for walks any time of the day.
The community offers tennis courts, a very active Community Center, and a large indoor pool.
The Homes
The Oaks were developed in the mid 1980's. There are about 160 homes in here, and they average 2-3 bedrooms and are mostly single floor, with the exception of a few with lofts. They have carports rather than garages, although occasionally there will be a home or two with a garage offered, a rare feature in this community.
