I contacted Missouri Housing Development Commission today and asked if we were still on track for the release of bond money for first time home buyers, this would be the 2nd issue of funds in 2008, I was originally told toward the end of March that they were targeting the end of April for the release. Today I am told that this will be indefinitely delayed and as of now they were not able to predict how soon bond money would be available to first time home buyers.
This program is a great program and over the last few years we usually see a bond issue around once a quarter, like many other programs the current market conditions are having their effect. Watch for future blogs here on when this program will next be available in the state of Missouri.
