Late Night Thoughts

By
Mortgage and Lending with Keller Mortgage NMLS#1239544

I am writing these thoughts because I'm once again being challenged in life and standing up for what I believe in. I'm taking a stand because I value who I am and the person I've become and I want to share those thoughts. I am greatful for my clients and my business partner. Because of these relationships and the path they have created for me in this moment of my life I am truly greatful and proud to be working with these people. They make me feel confident in who I am and what I'm doing.

To My Clients: Thank you for your patience, understanding, confidence and trust me. I feel honored to have you share those qualities in our relationship and working together. Without you I wouldn't have such a great business and career. I'm am greatful for the opportunity to work with you and help you achieve your mortgage goals. Thank you for the opportunity you have given me.

To My Business Partner: You have shown me what its like to have a trusting business partner who has your back and can relate in situations. Your professional and respectful and at times when its hard to see that in others you remind me to look harder for it and that its better to be that person than something else. You've motivated me into a driven mortgage professional that is pursuing a career and on to a path in life much greater than anything I've ever had the opportunity for thus far in life. Thank you for giving me the path to become someone and something. Its a helpful hand I will always be greatful for.

Honesty, Repsect, Professionalism: Sometimes I feel like these traits have become rare and something of the past. I'm suprised how hard I have to look to find this in people. I have challenged myself over the years to continuously pursue these traits regardless of how I'm treated or done wrong by others. After a conversation with my client tonight, it was a reminder of how far you can get by being honest, being respectful, and being professional in every interation, every day. Too many times we take advantage of these interactions and don't truly value what they bring in our lives.

Stand true on your values and beliefs. Do the right thing for your clients even if it means you don't get paid. Your actions and what you do for other people will reward you in ways that no material goods or monies could even come close to giving you.

Good post Chris.  It's always a bit lonely and unsettling when you find yourself standing on your values and moral code when you may be alone.  But you will win over time and feel the better for your decisions.
