When a Sacramento REALTOR Comes Down With the Flu

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

Isn't it funny how when you think back to the jobs you might have had as a kid in your 20s and how, no matter what, you had all of these sick days? You probably used every single one of those sick days. I can't think of any previous job where I wasn't sick a lot. Probably sick of working, if you want to know the truth, at that particular job. Because now that I've been a REALTOR in Sacramento, I can't recall any sick days whatsoever over the last 10 years. None. Never was I down for the count.

You can read more in my personal blog today about Do Sacramento REALTORS Get a Sick Day?

The flu bugs that have gone around this year have been lethal.  I'm sorry to hear one of 'em bit you, Elizabeth!  I had the kind that was intestinal, rather than hitting the stomach.  And, mine came twice.  Our last lunch together was between bouts. I think we will all be better when this flu season is over.  I certainly hope they do better in putting together next years vaccine.  This year's was a loser!

Morning Elizabeth, I've been in the hospital at least twice last year but I still had my computer and cell phone.  I was able to look at contracts etc and keep up with office work.  It's hard to keep me down and out

Put 40 years of experience to work for you

Yes, that's the thing with technology. Why, you can answer your phone and listen to some fool scream about the overgrown grass and what are you gonna do about mowing it, even though you keep assuring her that real estate companies do not mow lawns or perform maintenance, it falls on deaf ears, or some other asshole who, even when informed you are in bed with the flu, demands you get up and drive to Elk Grove because she forgot to charge her display key. The fun never ends.
