This affordable waterfront sits on Bethy Creek. The PERFECT location for water sports. The Gulf Coast Wakeboarders Association comes to Bethy Creek twice a year for rallies. Why? Because they can take the cut right on to the Trinity River and ski for miles.
The north end of the lake has protected coves, miles of Trinity River, and awesome creeks to fish in. Don't let people fool you. The BIG end of the lake is more expensive (it i closer to the airport), taxes are higher, AND (most importantly) the water is CHOPPY!
So if you are looking for calm water to fish and ski. Check out the north end of the lake. If you want ocean like views and convenience to the airport, the south end will work for you.
There can be deep and shallow waters ANYWHERE on the Lake. The best way to know for sure if you can get a boat to the house you fall in love with is to put one in and check it out for yourself. Don't have a boat yet? No worries! I know where you can rent one! ☺
