Thats medical information bureau. Are you aware of that every time you fill out an application for health or life insurance your information is stored like a credit bureau in whats called a Medical Information Bureau. Also whenever you fill a prescription or even get prescribed one it will also be recorded. ANd now pretty soon doctors will begin to see your credit to see if you are eligble to pay the doctor bill. Picking Insurance is frustrating but remeber Cheap insurance is not good and good insurance is not cheap. Find an agent that will keep you well informed about how your health plan works.  How frightening. Sounds like the UK. Your medical records follow you all through your life, as a national health patient your records are passed on from doctor to doctor.
