I love to watch the Oscars. I love to see what everyone is wearing or not in some cases. I am looking forward to tonight’s show with Neil Patrick Harris; he has had quite a year. I think my earliest memory of the Oscars was when Johnny Carson was hosting; he was the bomb. So, in honor of the Oscars I am saluting California with all its beauty! Happy Sunday! I've been busy today, with a lot of physical activity, while swimming and gardening (not at the same time). I want to watch the Oscars, but suspect it will be a crap shoot as to whether I'll be successful before falling asleep on the couch!

Since we were snowed in today, my husband and I prepared a special dinner and are now watching the pre-Oscar show and sharing a bottle of wine. Our lives are so busy, we rarely go to the movies, and rely upon the Oscars for reviews to purchase on-line so we really enjoy this show.

I think Neil Patrick Harris was a total bomb as the lead person. Where is Billy Crystal or Whoppi Goldberg when they need them or Jimmy Fallion. Best picture award choice ceratianly wasn't a movie i would pick..
