Hey, Tim - you seem to do a lot of work with condos. I live in the Maple Lane area - what do you think the Notre Dame condo developments in the area will do for the Maple Lane community, if anything?

I'd love to see Maple Lane flourish as a result of the Condo market... I really like the area and it's as convenient a location to Notre Dame as any out there. However, I see the rentals over there being the real issue. Even with the makeover that area has seen over recent years, I find most buyers shy away from Maple Lane because of the "for rent" signs littered throughout the neighborhood. The low taxes over there make it a profitable rental area, and until that changes I don't see Condo pricing being of any benefit to you or Maple Lane. Thanks for your Comments!

Yes, the rental issue is one for us as well. Our northern neighbors rent and mow their grass maybe twice a year. It seems like the prices are increasing around 5%/year in this neighborhood and I'm happy with that. I don't wish for taxes to go up, however :)
