What an Awesome Business

First, we are so fortunate to be in such an awesome business. Lets remember these 5 simple rules that will keep us motivated and in a better mindset to thrive in this business:

1. Smile

It is amazing how a smile impacts ourselves and others. Our attitude improves and it is contagious to others.

2. Share

In our business we have the opportunity to share all the time:

we can share our knowledge with others in the business.

we can share our time

we can share our money with others

When we share we are better and our lives are enriched. Share sharing.

3. Teamwork. We are not alone.

We have team members, let's work together. Who's on your team? Let's see:

Your broker

Your manager

Your admin staff

Your fellow agents

Your lender

Your inspector

Your attorney

Your banker

Your stager

Get the picture. Work together.

4. Work

If you work hard, good things happen, work without complaining and watch what happens.

5. Be Thankful.

Gratitude is a great attitude. When you are thankful, good things abound.

When you practice these five things you'll                win every time.

Thanks for reading and please share your thoughts and ideas.

Jim, A positive and grateful attitude is key.  We must stop complaining about market conditions and focus only on the good and the things we have instead of the things we have not.

Jim. I could not agree more. I have been in the Optimist Club of over 15 years. We help the community while helping children with all kinds of problems. We concentrate on children with cancer. I have attached the Optimist Creed below. This is what we live by. I read this every morning. It really helpls. Please enjoy. Thanks for the post. Royal..

Promise Yourself:

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.
