I use Creative Commons on Flickr.com for all my images for the blog. Couple of days ago I was searching different keywords trying to find something to reflect what I had in mind. I typed “Irrelevant” in the search and … saw this photo of our President.
Could it be Rudy, who took the photo? After all according to so many people on TV, it is only Rudy, who feels it this way.
People around me have been saying it for a long time. I am actually very surprised that it was such a shock. Around me it is not a shock at all. A shock was that there are those who think it is a shock.
But I am getting used to that there are two Americas. One where I live, and one where TV personalities live.
Today on BBC America the host had a guest, Errol Louis. He was asked about Rudy’s comment, and the guy couldn’t simply stop. He speculated that it could be the test by right-wingers, who were up to no good, and that Rudy Giuliani did not have the experience of our President, and on and on and on...
He sounded so intellectual, that it was stupid.
The funny thing was that the idea of Giuliani speaking his mind never occurred to Mr. Louis. Do people in his circles have a serious problem with integrity? Looks like there is no such thing as face value.
There is no need to sit in front of the camera and for 10 minutes talk about what might be behind Giuliani’s words. There is nothing behind.
The guy loves America, and feels that our President doesn’t.
The horrible thing is not that Giuliani said that. The horrible thing is that he had the reason to say that.
I say the same thing. People around me say the same thing. I actually have met very few people, who wouldn’t say it in our neck of the wood. Maybe we are not that advanced, but we are Americans no less than all those guys on TV.
So maybe this is a horrible thing to say, but I am with Rudy Giuliani.
I do not understand why with all the respect to the Office of the President, we can’t allow the thought that Rudy Giuliani loves America more than the sitting President.
You think the President loves America?
How do you know?
