Asparagus Casserole - or Brocolli Casserole

Received this recipe from a friend who was trying to help me with some easy recipes:

Asparagus Casserole

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
7 cans Asparagus cut spears (15oz), drained
1 cup Mayonnaise
Juice of 1 lemon
Ritz Cracker Crumbs

Mix soup and mayo and lemon juice together in 9" x 13" baking dish.  Poke asparagus spears with an ice pick to remove any hard stems.  Add drained asparagus to baking dish and mix well.  Crush Ritz crackers and sprinkle on top.  Dot with butter.  Cook in 350 degree oven till bubbly, about 20-30 minutes.

Can be made up days ahead without the crackers and butter and stored in refrigerator.  Add cradkers and butter before cooking.

This can also be done with broccoli pieces.

Hope you enjoy this - I enjoy it with broccoli  - but I like it when someone else makes the dish
