Real Estate Industry professionals have continuously evolved with marketing techniques on the internet. We started with websites. Then Web 2.0 and blogs and a lot of other internet savvy tools. Now....we have live video that surely brings each event full face with real movement, real voices, real people and an account of what we are presenting to the public and the consumer.
Advertising in the newspaper is costly and doesn't give the consumer anything but....words. Advertising to me is not so much about how much the professional has sold or made. It's about WHAT THAT AGENT WILL DO FOR YOU!
It's about listening to the client's wants, needs, desires and dreams. It's about going above and beyond to help those clients achieve their goals with selling their home. The home they've lived in for 20 or 30 years and where a lot of memories are invested. The emotions they will go through when parting ways. It's about going above and beyond to help those clients who are buying their home that they will create events and save many memories in for years to come.
The following video is my first ever video to document a little of my Hawaii Military Relocation clients who searched for an agent in Hawaii on the internet and NOT ONE agent would give Shelly the time of day because it was "too far ahead" (they were trying to be proactive). Shelly typed in a search term into Google and contacted me after reading a few of my stories. And that's just the beginning!
That was last November. They arrived on February 27th, 2008 and we were looking for property on the 28th, 29th and in contract by the 30th. We signed all loan and escrow docs yesterday, will fund by Thursday morning and record with the Bureau of Conveyances Friday morning.

Sally. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together. I love the way you stay in contact with relocating home buyers. That's always been one of the secrets to my success. It's harder now that I refer folks out. But, your dedication will bring you business.

April: It was actually pleasant from the time I "met" them ...first online...then the phone...then relocating here. The only time it was frustrating was that time setting appointments. I look at it this way....the ones that didn't answer didn't even give their listing a chance. And the best thing is....they found a home they love.
Cynthia: Do it! Do it! I love stuff like this....I'm not one for small gadgets for taking notes and stuff but I sure love a video and RES for my business......We WILL make use of these....guarantee it. With my sony it was complicated...time consuming and the stuff....
Sally I am disappointed that you have not learned how to video tape yourself and drive at the same time. You are going to have to come visit me in Connecticut so I can teach you how .......... LOL
Sally~That camera is coming in handy. I can't wait to go buy one for myself and share a whole lot more about Utah. You are making this even more fun in your blog. So I have to add, that bridges shouldn't be burned in this industry, because we all need to work as a team and make that experience a memorable one for our clients. So with that said my friend, oh how I agree with you.

Woo--hoo: You are doing a fab' job with the video camera!!! Now, what kind of camera do you use? I know it's only a matter of time before I have to take that plunge . I wonder what the consensus is on "the best cameras" for the money and the job? That would be a good post--wish I knew something about them, I'd write it....

Jason: Thanks! For me it certainly is an obstacle I got over quick. (I'm not bashful lol) Everyone chimed in and had a ball. AFter signing loan docs we waited for the escrow officer to finish a signing in the other room and we were cutting up so bad.... She walked in and I asked if she could hear us out there.....Yeeeessss. Oops. :)

Missy: Thanks! It really does work out when one sticks with someone and follows up. I personally like the length of time.....We get to know each other and it gives us more time to fine tune criteria and likes/dislikes.

I tried to watch the video but it froze before I got to meet your clients. From what I did see, it was very good. And judging from the picture of them smiling, I would say everything went well. Congratulations!
Sally.... the videos in all of these blogs reminds me of that chia pet... just a little water and they sprout up all over the place. I need to get more involved. I already have a few ideas though...

Woo-Hoo: you inspired me with this post; I ordered one of those flipper video cameras! I won't be putting my mug on it right away....but for other uses, I'll try. AND, I'll be a grandmother next month--and I need it for baby vidoes.

I just want to film everything now! I did one of my granddaughter making her first high pitched squeals as a test drive with the flip and the mixpo.
