Welcome to the community of Spring Valley located in Divide, CO (Center of the Known Universe!).
Spring Valley is a rural community about 20 minutes from Woodland Park, CO that has about 365 parcels with 2/3rds of those containing residential structures. The community offers two lakes (Burgess Lake & Shadow Lake) and three ponds which are available for the use and enjoyment of the property ownes. Roads within Spring Valley are maintained by Teller County, CO. They do an extremely efficient job of clearing and maintaining the roads. I can attest to that because I used to live there. All roads within the community branch off from the main road that forms a wide oval through the community.
Home Sales
Lot sizes in this community are generally around 1 acre with home sizes varying from 600 sq. ft. cabins to 2500+ sq. ft. homes. Average sales price in this subdivision for 2014 was $205k. Some cabins can sell in the low $120's with the bigger homes pushing closer to $300k.
Directions
To get there, drive Highway 24 West out of Woodland Park. You'll go about 10 minutes and will hit the one and only light in Divide, CO. Turn right on County Road 5 (CR 5). The road will split at CR 5 and CR 51. Stay straight on CR 5. You'll go about 3.5 miles and the community of Spring Valley will be on the right. CR 5 is paved, but once you turn into Spring Valley, the road is dirt/gravel.
