What's Up for Kids Summer Fun Expo!

whatsupfor kids 2015

While some areas of the country are still digging out of the snow, Palos Verdes homes owners are already thinking about fun activities for their children during the summer months.  Although some may say it is too early, before you know it children are out of school and looking for things to do.  On Saturday, March 7, 2015, What’s Up For Kids will be having their annual Kids, Camps and Connections to give parents the opportunities to sign up for activities for their children to enjoy.  It will be held this year at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will have over 75 different exhibitors and resources for children of all ages.  Each year the science and educational activities seem to increase and there is an ever changing list of camps for children to choose from sports, beach fun, surf & sailing, art, riding, dance, music, language and more.

This year, the entertainment will start at 11:00 and go until 2:00 p.m.  There will be hands on activities and craft areas, fantastic giveaways, door prizes and a treasure hunt.  This is also a good opportunity to learn about full day summer programs for the working parent, where their children can enjoy days of fun at various school locations on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Torrance Cultural Arts Center is located at 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance.  For a complete list of the exhibitors and activities go to http://whatsupforkids.com.

Elaine, we sure live in different worlds as next weekend you will be having a program to inform parents about the summer activities schedule and programs while we are still covered in snow!  How wonderful to be out in the sunny LA area!
