Stand for Something or you will Fall for anything. Today's Mighty Oak was Yesterday's Nut that Held its ground. ~ Rosa Parks
Photographer's Notes: The mighty Garry Oak (White Oak) was once a common feature of the Western Washington landscape as they could resist the relatively frequent fast-running grass fires that would eliminate their competition.
The Fog in the distance is actually from the Willamette River, and not from the closer and much larger Columbia River!
