Cottage or Castle - Your Biggest Investment!

Something to think about...

Don't wait until you're selling your home to have it appraised and surveyed.

Why do you have your car checked regularly, but not your largest investment?

Hmmm??

David, I am sorry but I must be missing something.  What benefit do you get out from paying $400 for an appraisal?

Hi David

Great statement.  I like the pictures.  I heard that a person should spend at least 3% of the value of a home on maintenance every year.

Hi Jimmy - in Victoria most realtors give free evaluations. Maybe I should have mentioned that!

Thanks for your comment Neal. Yeah maintenance so often is only done when a seller has decided to put their house on the market. Very often that means putting out large amounts of money.

David, just curious what that castle on the right would appraise for?

Appraisals and surveys before a contract is in place here doesn't do us any good.  There are too many variables.  Love Victoria by the way.  I was there two years ago.  I think I saw your signs.

Bringing you home...

Interesting thought and some do it here, but the buyers mortgage company always requires their own anyways....
