Palm Beach Gardens has many gated communities unaffiliated with country clubs for those who want a wonderful residence in a congenial neighborhood without a golf course.
Some of the neighborhoods have community pools, a small clubhouse and perhaps a fitness center or a tennis court, but there are no additional dues to be paid for these facilities. Other have just residences.
Here is a sampling of Palm Beach Gardens gated communities:
Oaks East is located just a mile or two from the PGA Boulevard hub of Palm Beach Gardens and minutes from the Gardens Mall and Palm Beach State University. It is a small community of single story homes built by Divosta with wonderful tree lines streets. Homes range from the high $300,000's up to the low $500,000's. There is a community pool within the neighborhood.
Paloma is a newer community located north of PGA Boulevard on Military Trail. There are both signle family homes and townhomes at Paloma with prices ranging from the low $400,000's up to $700,000 for a large two story executive home. There is a community pool within the neighborhood and a small clubhouse.
Steeplechase is the premiere estate community in Palm Beach Gardens. There are just 324 homes, each on an acre or more of land so lots are spacious and homes are generally a bit larger. Steeplechase is located west of Military Trail, east of the Turnpike on Northlake Boulevard. Homes range in price from the mid-$500,000's up to nearly $3 million. There are no amenities within the neighborhood, though most homes have pools and some have tennis courts or putting greens. All homes are custom built.
San Michele is a small executive community with fewer than 100 homes located on Central Boulevard just north of Hood Road. These are large homes with upscale finishes, most are custom built and include pools. Prices range upward from $1 million. There is a small community pool, clubhouse and tennis court.
Mirabella is a medium sized community of Kolter constructed homes located on Jog Road north of PGA Boulevard and north of Mirasol. Prices range from the mid-$400,000's up to $700,000 for a large home on the lake with a pool. Mirabella has an active clubhouse, tennis courts and a community swimming pool.
