It was announced yesterday that the Edmonton based company that owns the largest mall in the US wants to build the "biggest" mall right here in Miami. The American Dream Miami as it is being called is being planned for a 200 acre plot in north west Miami Dade county. Besides harboring just about every retail outlet known to man it will also include an indoor ice skating rink, snow covered ski hill, interactive golf, water slides and much more.
Of course our county leaders are salivating about the 25,000 job creation and huge tax base-who wouldn't? All I can say is stay tuned for more details and also the fact that it is very far from where I live!
