The sales for Loudoun County Virginia for January 1, 2015 to March 6, 2015 are consistent with the sales for the same period in 2014.

Lenn, it sounds as though you are bewildered and perplexed as well :) Lots to be said for stability and the numbers are head in a positive direction.

That can't be true. 

The economy is booming.  Things have never been better.  The market is getting stronger and stronger and heat can be felt from the explosion of sales.

Wow.  I don't think my area ever had a year over year that close before.

I like the values...if I get one every few years in that price range I am really happy.

Not sure what kind of winter you've had Lenn Harley but it looks as if your market has reached its 32 degrees. 

Lenn, first of all, flummoxed is one of my all-time favorite words. Secondly, that is a mark of a consistent market--or a flatline!

Mirror of history....and consistency...it's a good thing !

No change at all can definitely be perplexing. We had a significant increase in sales prices last January to this one; if the results were flat I think I'd have been disappointed.

Lenn, I was curious about the word moribund, never heard it before and looked it up. It is quite unusual to be that close in sales year to year. We are showing a slight decline in total sales price here from same time last year.

Lenn, This is good news. Finally, the Nation's Capital isn't the attraction it once was. The looters are on the way out.

Lenn- flat or consistent... I'd rather see that than a roller coaster up and a plummeting downward graph. 

I suspect when you get a larger sample, things will change and that this was just an upswing in less expensive homes selling and more expensive ones sticking around a little longer.
