The annual presentation of Terpsichore by the Hilton Head Dance Theatre is an eagerly awaited event. The dance company uses this Muse to present both classical and contemporary dance pieces. This year the company will present Act II of Swan Lake as well as a one-act version of Alice in Wonderland. Two new selections also were created by choreographer Kathleen Watkins; "Blackbird", and "Dancin' Dan." Hilton Head Dance School instructor and choreographer Jamal Edwards will also have two pieces featured during the performance.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of classical ballet as well as to delight in contemporary dance. The level of talent by the performers is extraordinary. If you've never attended an event at the Arts Center this is a perfect chance to enjoy an intimate setting in a first rate venue with state of the art sound system and wonderfully adaptable stage.
