Palm RealtyI remember when people that I knew were flying out of Denver and into Minneapolis on one day round trip flights for the sole purpose of shopping at the Mall of America. Now I certainly don’t like shopping enough to even spend a full day at it much less flying somewhere just to shop, BUT, there are obviously those that do! So, I found it interesting to learn that the developers that built the Mall of America in Palm RealtyBloomington, Minnesota, Triple Five, are now planning another project in Miami-Dade County. The Mall of America is currently the largest shopping mall in the country. I've been there, and it is awe inspiring simply by virtue of it's sheer size.

Triple Five, a huge world wide conglomerate out of Canada, has announced their intention to build American Dream Miami. The $4 billion dollar Palm Realtyshopping and entertainment complex will cover over 200 acres and will include not only shopping venues but also an indoor artificial ski slope, a Legoland (also at the Mall of America), a waterpark with a lake and submarine rides, a sea lion show, an indoor garden and a miniature golf course. The new project will create 25,000 new jobs for the northwest Miami-Dade area.

The American Dream Miami still has not gotten all of their approvals, so, a start and finish date has yet to be announced.

Kerry, something for everyone, UNLESS you crave nature, greenery, QUIET, trees and the smell of the great outdoors! I'm with you, I won't be doing this, but everyone is welcome to their own tastes.
