Sundown over Seattle, Silent Sunday
We had missed Sunset, but the skies were still glowing and the day had been fantastic. Perched upon a high spot on Mercer Island, we enjoyed the final few minutes of an incredible pre-spring day.
Just behind the trees to the right are the floating bridge and downtown sky scrapers. The Olympic Mountains are in the center shot, silhouetted against the sky.

"The Bluest Skies You Ever Saw are in Seattle........." It is such a joy to have an opportunity to view the sun setting in Seattle or anywhere but you captured it forever. Looks like there could be a repeat performance this evening. Hope you don't miss it.

Very nice. I have a painting quite similar to this, of the Pacific Northwest. I gaze at if often. It really is a beautiful part of the world.
