Foldable Staging Furniture...A Stager's Dream

Yes, Foldable Staging Furniture.  I know it sounds unbelievable, but it is my dream come true.

For more information go to www.stageitnow.net and visit the Staging Store.

Here is how it started.

Although I have been in the Custom Home Building Industry for over 20 years, I have only retained stager status for less than a year.  My experience up until now has been staging my own properties and helping others with designs for remodels, custom homes etc.  All of my combined experience has lead me to this career that I truly love.

I recently asked my husband to join me, his experience as a Custom Home Builder with an engineering background has been true asset.  As I shared with him the frustrations I had as a stager trying to rent decent furniture, he was encouraged to think outside the box.  You see, in our Tri-County area, there are no wonderful furniture rental businesses that we can depend on.  We have been forced to purchase furniture which as you know, takes up alot of space.  Our first purchase was container space (Refrigerated Freight containers make excellent storage units if you have a nice piece of land to store it on) our second purchase was an enclosed 18' cargo trailer and as you guessed, I can't back it up. Ha!

Our  company has created these products out of need.  It is Foldable Staging Furniture.  It looks like real furniture but is foldable and easy to carry.  We have a patent pending on this product and are offering it to all stagers.  These products will allow stagers to build their own rental inventory with limited storage space required.  The average size of these products are  41/2" Thick  X 36" X 62" when folded.  We will also offer custom protective carrying cases.  Currently we have available our Tuscany Collection and our Ebony Coast Collection.  We are currently developing a folding Pub Table(patent pending), a Ivory Coast Collection(ivory with a mocha glaze)(patent pending) and other items of need.  It appears that we may be a one stop shop for staging needs in the near future.

This is a fantastic way to stage vacant homes, condos and apartments.  These items are small enough they can be transported in a pick up truck or a mini-van and can be stored in your garage.

We are looking forward to hearing from you regarding these revolutionary new staging products.

Patty ~ Very innovative and forward thinking of you!  I think it sounds like a great idea and with you looking at it from the stager's perspective you can really put some thought into these pieces.

Will these products be available in Canada? When you are looking for a distributor up here, let me know! This is amazing - it is the exact reason I struggle with staging an empty property. The hassle far out weighed any possible benefits. I'll keep yur information handy and watch your progress!

Nice website!  Your furniture lines look wonderful; what a great idea!  Will definitely be keeping you in mind.

Great concept!  I've been buying foldable furniture for a while now because of it's convenience.  However, they are difficult to find and the quality in some of the furnishings that I've seen just isn't there.

They are great space savers, easy to carry and work well for smaller spaces.  If the quality is there, and by looking at your pictures, it looks like it is - you've got a winner here!

Keep us posted on how things are coming along.

I was looking at your site yesterday after seeing a comment about this, very cool concept.  I was wondering though, about how much does that large dresser weigh? Just curious...

Fantastic. We though of this years ago and did not have the resources to put it together. The prices are a bit high (although worth it), Hopefully, you will get some volume and them can come down a bit. I would buy them in a minute. Fab! Kym

Patti - Fantastic idea!!!  Does the ebony and Tuscan lines on your website fold up?  It doesn't say anything about it on your site or show any pictures. Can you explain the process of how it folds up?  Does it look like solid quiality furniture?  I'm excited to hear more about it!

NOW this is a great idea. A little while back I remember seeing a post on card board box furniture. While it was a nice TRY... the end result is actually to distracting. My fear that people would be too focused on the boxes and not on the property. WHICH is a cardnal sin.

BUT THIS... WOW! Excellent!

I see you are taking orders, but I did not find any pricing information. So the big question is... HOW MUCH?

Lisa, I agree with you and that is how,and why, we invented this furniture.  Now I look at each piece of furniture differently.  I am evaluating everything!  I look different pieces of furniture to see if it can be a folding piece of furniture and still keep its style style.  It is a lot of fun.  Stay tuned for more results. Thanks
