We knew a Broker/Manager who had the sales mantra.."Take the emotion out of the transaction...real estate is a business."
We have never ascribed to that practice.....
* When you deal with short sales and have no compassion, you should not do them.
* If you can't relate to the sale of a childhood home, do not deal with estate sales
* If you can't understand how scary it is to consider writing a bigger check every month than you ever have....do not work with first time buyers.
* If you don't know how to figure out cash flow on in investment property for a beginning investor that considers all the factors in owning such a property...don't list it.
*While down sizing may make perfect sense for empty nesters....there is a lifetime of memories in that home...understand this is not a building but a cherished part of people's lives that they may find difficult to leave.
