Van Dorn Village is conveniently located off of South Van Dorn street just minutes from popular Kingstowne. The neighborhood is composed of 295 townhomes, all are three levels with 2 to 3 bedrooms and range from 1,680 to 2,875 square feet. The homes in Van Dorn Villae were constructed between 1986 and 1988. Most of the homes in the neighborhood do not have garages but, all sell with assigned parking. There are a few homes with garages located on Crocus Court. Residents enjoy use of basketball courts and tot lots and the community is maintained by an HOA. Commuting from Van Dorn Village is convenient; the neighborhood is only 3 stop lights to 495 and minutes to 395, 95, and Fairfax County Parkway. There are two metro stations less than ten minutes away; Van Dorn and Franconia-Springfield both of which are the blue line. Kingstowne is also just minutes away and home to Kingstowne Town Center where you’ll find grocery stores, Kingstowne 16 Movie Theater and many retail and dining options; Pasara Thai, Bonefish Grill, East Moon Bistro, Macaroni Grill, Dominos Pizza, World Market, Home Goods, TJ Maxx. The new Springfield Town Center is a quick drive down Franconia Road from the neighborhood and offers residents even more shopping, dining, and entertainment options.
