Monday - Finding Nemo

Hi William - That is a great photo - you really got those colors to pop, and it looks like an animation cell. Good message too.

William those colors sure do jump out at you. Disney is one my most favorite places.

William love the colors just so Vibrant! I had one of our East Coast friend write me on FB stop with all the colors:)) keep in mind they have 30 foot snow banks still....Endre

William- those colors just pop off the page!  Finding Nemo is one of my favorite movies. 

William - Should you ever buy or rent the DVD, "Finding Nemo," be certain to check out the bonus section where the Pixar guys talk about making the movie.

They decided to drive from the Bay Area down to LA. They needed to talk Ellen DeGeneres into talking like a whale in the flick.  It was easier than they thought, because in her younger years, Ellen actually lived in an apartment next to a guy who studied whales, and had their sounds going 24/7.  

During the trip to see Ellen, the guys stopped at a McDonalds, and ended up writing the scene where the Tiki Torches are doing their song and dance.  It was truly burgers and a scene.  I love that kind of spontaneous combustion of creativity.

In another fascinating part of the bonus material they talked about rendering the scenes.  Some scenes were not as finely rendered, as others.  Movies have budgets, and the amount of time spent on animations is budgeted too.  It was interesting to see the difference between the finely rendered, and the not so finely rendered.  

I loved that movie, I think I am going to put it in and get motivated now!!!
