Indeed.  Patricia's writing is imbued with her music.  Each on a very clear high note.  I read her often and she makes me smile, as does good music.

Karen Anne- I love this post and I agree, when you let that spirit flow outward you affect anyone whom it touches! If we each did this once a day what a world it might be!

Karen Anne -- Musicians like Pat know that their music background seems to influence whatever they do in life.  The self-discipline and complete involvement that's required to be successful in music is equally important to success in other areas.  

Karen Anne:  I can feel something happening when I am being my best self.  My business just flows and things click.  And in my personal life, being true to myself makes a HUGE difference.  I couldn't agree with what you've stated here more.

Aura...energy......vibration!  The rhythm of a heartfelt life!  To touch and be Touched - I guess thats the true essence of life :-)

How lovely Karen Anne. This is the way I float through life because I am too selfish to 'fake it' for anyone. The beauty of this is that when people are in my company - whether personally or professionally - they sense they are a genuine part of my journey. They seem to enjoy the ride and so do I.

Karen:  "Phoning it in" is something that many people often do.  Patricia... never.  Late at night... if I want to read something that actually "says" something... Pat is one of the ones I know can I click on.  :)

Vanessa:  Yes... what a wonderful thought.  If everyone acted from their hearts and let that spirit flow outward... the magic that would be done by those we affect when it touches them... would surely change the world.  Doing this once a day would be more powerful than just about anything else.  Thanks for your kind thoughts.

Eric:  Playing music professionally, and playing it from the heart... having that ability just seems to imbue everything else a person.  The fact that they... knowingly or unknowingly... climb inside everything they do... does bring such involvement that allows their efforts to be nothing but successful and meaningful.

Liz:  Yes, my dear.  Your aura, your energy, the vibrations that emanate from you being your best self... they are truly the rhythm of a life lived from the heart.  The magic of touch... whether physical or psychic... from the body, the heart, the mind or the spirit... it is not the essence of life, but the essence of a life truly lived.  Thanks for sharing.

Jennifer:  It appears that the way you float through life... whether on foot or on your mountain bike (smile) your spirit surely touches those around you.  You have such an "aura" to you.  To invite someone into your journey gives them a very special gift.  If only those invited could see the specialness of that gift... when anyone chooses to offer it.  All too often the quality and worth of that gift is judged by others according to the "packaging" of the person offering the gift.  Does that make sense ?  So much can be lost when that happens.

And Jennifer... when you offer to share your ride with them... do you give them their own mountain bike, or do you plunk them down on your handlebars and just peddle harder ?

Jason:  The gift of ones self... that anyone and everyone may offer... if looked at closely... can be such a special gift.  Sometimes that gift is offered to some who are unable to see or sense it's value.  Others, who they themselves have the ability to recognize the beauty given... are so fortunate to have been open to it.  And then... there are those whose gift is so special in and of itself... that it brings with it the gift of the awareness needed for that gift to be accepted.  Those are truly the marvelous ones.  And... MWA to you, too :)

Jennifer:  Wow... now a double-play MWA from you.  Yikes... I'm surrounded by MWA's and the accompanying warmth.  I haven't had this much "attention"... so to speak... since 1982, I think it was.  Jennifer... a big MWA, and another just like it... to you too !  :)

What an accurate and very well thought out post. This knowledge of our impact on the world around us and ourselves is, to me, the essence of playing from the heart. If we play true to ourselves we definitely resonate with others. Very nice post!

Rich:  When we act out of our "informed spirit"... so much is possible.  We can only do that, however, if beforehand we ourselves were open to that "spirit."  I have read many books on both metaphysics and early gnostic teachings... and I continue to do so.  I find that just as a productive and fertile garden needs continuous care and fertilization... so one's "spirit" continues to be "informed" if only we are both open to it, and we encourage it.

Rich... at the time... way back in college... I did not really see the value of my Philosophy minor.  All I can surmise is that I must have been "in spirit" then, too.  Thanks for your very kind comments.
