Links

On your website do you use a lot of links?

I was curious to know if people find that all the back and forth links between them and other website have really generated business.

Does it actually move you up the google food chain?

Do you have to be careful that if one of your clients sees a link for the competitor on your website do you use them?  Or would just list both websites, then who goes first.

I am curious to know.

You do move. But I was at a seminar and they are saying you have to be concerned if you move folks off your site

Hi George - Quality inbound links are one of the best ways to make your site move up in the search engine ranks. Next to good content there isn't much that would do more for your rankings. I would suggest that you add a link to your website on all your posts. You need to make it a link though. You have added your website above but this should be in the form of a link with proper anchor text. To see what I mean look at the bottom of one of my posts. You will see I have anchor text for the search term I want to be ranked for and it directs the consumer to my website when clicking the link. Hope this helps.

Hi George... to link or not to link???  Inbound are great like Bill said but to get them usually you have to give some.

As stated above links do move you up in Google rankings. You wouldn't want to put competitors links on your site. You would want links from site that complement your site.

Good Post!
