The Moorhead Country Club is a member-owned, private country club. The club’s main feature is an 18-hole golf course. The country club has a variety of golf programs.

Golf Programs

The Men’s Program features a men’s competitive golf day each Thursday. The men’s locker room has recently been renovated. This program provides men with the opportunity to bond socially and participate in healthy, good-natured competition.

The Women’s Program features a women’s golf day each Wednesday. Each Wednesday, women can invite a guest to join them. There are special events each week. The Moorhead Country Club is sensitive to the time needs of women. For this reason, they offer morning and evening groups. The women organize several special events each year. These events include a Spring Style Show and a Fall Awards Banquet.

The Junior Golf Program offers kids a chance to learn from PGA professionals in a fun environment. They have practice sessions and tournaments. This program gives kids a chance to interact with others, make new friends, and learn the fundamentals of golf.

The Couple’s Golf Program combines a 9-hole golf scramble with dinner and entertainment. This program runs during the warmer months and begins each year in June. This is a wonderful opportunity for social interaction and is well attended by members of Moorhead Country Club.

Other Amenities

Golf isn’t the only activity offered by Moorhead Country Club. Their outdoor pool has a water slide and offers club members a private retreat during warm months. There is a separate pool for smaller children. There are showers, changing rooms, and a snack area. The pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day weekend. The pool is open Monday – Sunday from Noon – 8 PM. Guests of members are welcome.

The dining room and lounge, the Red River, offers lunch and dinner service. Menus are created to highlight seasonal dishes. The Red River is a wonderful place for casual meals, romantic dinners, and family gatherings. It’s the perfect place to host business meetings and special get-togethers.
