List of Apps you need for buying or selling a house

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners

For those that like to stay in control and have information quickly and easily, here are a few apps necessary for the home buying and selling journey:

A Mortgage Calculator – there a several good free ones (Simple Mortgage Payment is a good one)…no need to spend money unless you want one that has more in depth features.

Google Docs or iWorks spreadsheets - to keep a breakdown of your finances and listing out the various costs associated with your favorite properties can help you decide which home best fits your budget.

Digital Signature App – Docusign or SignEasy

Reader like Adobe or Good Reader – so you can read pdf’s that you receive on the go

Scanner – Tinyscan or Turboscan which is not free but gets good reviews

Angie’s List – Reviews of contractors and other specialists

Magic Plan – to help you visualize your furniture in a room

Paint Tester Pro – this is a cool app (not free) that works on a photo – you tell it what color to paint the walls and it will modify the picture

And lastly – MY HOME SEARCHING APP!

Tina, great tips, I prefer to get personal reference of contractors from friends, neighbors and colleges personally.
