5 Comments on Mililani, Hawaii Directory of Schools

Randy, I'm sure this information is a wonderful post for those with families being transferred to Oahu and trying to research school info. I can't remember if Hickam had a elementary school there, but for sure no High School, and when we were being reassigned (in the 80s) my HS counsler in SD had a hard time figuring out what school I was going to be going to. Thanks!

Good Deal! I know more and more military folks are living off base with the housing allowance they are provided, but I think the ones that have small keiki's continue to live "on base". Nine times out of ten the base's supply schools thru elementray then its off base for Jr and Sr. High. I don't know that the military has all the information on the schools for the parents before they arrive at their new base or if thats left to the parents to find on their own.

Lysa - I am seeing that many of my military clients with small keikis (children in Hawaiian) are also living off base.  The housing allowance is now in line with the real world and they can buy instead of renting.
