A good lesson indeed. Who hasn't looked up at a balloon and imagined the view? I think how hard it must be to look up and NOT think about the Creator of all things.

Would you ride a hot air balloon Dorie Dillard ? I probably won't.

But they are a sight to behold when up in the air.

Dorie, what a great lesson for the students and such a creative idea on the teachers part. Hot air balloons are so elegant looking to me, they just float along.

Definitely a great way to get the kids attention. I've never seen a hot air balloon in person, but it always looks exciting.

What a fabulous way to learn about physics and aerodynamics and  think about Phinneas Fogg circumnavigating the world!

Dorie: Anytime fun and learning can be combined you can bet it will stick with kids for quite awhile.

That is something those kids will remember for a very long time.  It's best to make learning fun, and that was certainly done here!
