Cell Phone Carriers ... Which One is the Best?
I use AT&T as my cell phone carrier and it is really expensive! Of course I am paying for two expensive smart phones. But jeez! My monthly bill is outrageous (250+)!
I have been tempted lately to move to Sprint or some other carrier but Verizon and AT&T is the best carries in our area.
Who do you use and do you find you are getting your money's worth?
I use AT & T. I think you are paying too much. What if you got pricing from the other vendors and then went to AT & T and told them you were going to switch unless they improve your plan. I bet they would adjust things. Good luck

Sussie, I am in agreement with many of the commentors here -- use the carrier that provides the best service in your area. We are heavy users; pay for 5 phones plus my iPad - cost is (gulp!) around $450 a month including a large data plan. We don't have a land line.

We pay $219 monthly for 3 smart phones with unlimited data. I have to give the credit to my bride who doesn't mind asking for discounts and keeps an eye out for specials. We are under no contract at this time with Verizon but can not imagine using anyone else.

We have four iPhones with data and unlimited texting for less than what you pay. I am also with AT&T. Maybe you need to reduce your calling plan.

I have been using Verizon for years, they seem to have the best courage for me. Also, I work with an owner that is a referral partner.

Sussie Sutton I use AT&T. I am also disclosing that I used to work for the Company too. Of course I'd prefer to pay less for lots of other products and services too. In a free market, providers will charge what the market will bear.

Laura Sellers I think Verizon has unlimited data user plans in our area but not sure. I am going to check them out for us. The deal is that I hear that AT&T will make me pay the phones I purchased in full at cancellation time.

Bob Publicover I have to agree with you. Plans don't seem to be the same from state to state. Even in the same state they seem to be different from person to person. In any case you are right and we have to continue to look for the best.
John McCormack I love the idea of having a 1-800-live person to speak too. At AT&T we get live chat which is good too. But they are using scripted responses and since they talk to more than 3 people at the same time it take quite a while to get everything done. Verizon is starting to look better and better.

Lottie Kendall We are also paying for three phones plus unlimited data.... I too have a land line for a fax but that is not included in the cell phone cost.

Hey Sussie, Good luck with your decision. You really do have to shop the carriers to make sure you are getting the right plan for you.
Joan, I use AT&T and have 4 smartphones, 1 phone and two tablets on it sharing 10G. Our bill is just over $200. I think that is a bargain. Are you sure you are on the right plan? We do get an 18% corporate savings on our data plan so that saves about $20.
This is the family share plan with unlimited talk and text and rollover on the data.
I have been with Sprint for almost 2 years now and have not had any problems. I have 2 Iphones and 2 samsung tablets on my account. My monthly bill is roughly $220. Give or take a few dollars. I have unlimited everything...talk, text and data. I also have insurance on all my devices and I am paying monthly for my phones. I have not found a better deal anywhere else...I'm sticking with Sprint.
