The first half of March is over and the numbers are in... number closed on target at 7 with the second half of the month usually being heavier than the first half and the days on the market is around the same as February. Average and median price are both lower than last month as a forecloser sold for $65,000. Not typical and hopefully the sales between now and the end of the month will bring that average back in line with where it was in February.
Sometimes agents are slow to report to the MLS closings so I will report on March final numbers sometime between April 10th and the 15th. Sometimes I have information about a closing that I am waiting to show up in the MLS and I try to make sure it gets in before I pull the report. Typically there are more closing toward the end of the month than any other time. Perhaps I'll write a post explaining why.
