Exploring Boston Massachusetts: Quick Tips on How to Save Money from Miss Feng Shui

Have you ever been to Boston Massachusetts? If not, I strongly recommend you put this on your "bucket list." If you are a history lover, this is a city you must check out in America. I decided to take a mini break and explore another city along the East coast. I only had a day and a half but tried to fit in as much as I could with the time allowed.

Feng Shui Life Tip: Always remember to treat yourself and allow your time to rejuvenate by doing activities you LOVE.

Traveling from Long Island NY, the trip was about 4 hours and 20 minutes (with lite traffic). Once there, we checked into the bed and breakfast and wasted not time exploring. We bought the Charlie pass which is a day pass that allows unlimited rides on the "T" (Boston's subway) and buses for 24 hours. It was perfect and cost $12.50.

You may also want to consider the "City Pass" which allows you access into various Boston attractions. It can help save you a lot of money. There are also plenty of FREE things to do such as walking the "Freedom Trail," which brings you along hitorical trails duirng the civial war period and some.

Navigation though out the city was fairly easy. Once you become familiar with "inbound" and "outbound" directions you are all set. Boston natives were also very helpful and that made the experience even more enjoyable. Boston is a walking city and there is much to see. Be open to all avenues of exploration.

Laura Cerrano Great Post! As someone who grew up in western Massachusetts I whole heartidly agree with your post. Boston is one of the unique places in America. Just up the Freedom Trial is a great FREE museum, see the attached link.

WOW Laura, the picture of that skyscraper is amazing.  I've never been to Boston.  Somehow, I hadn't imagined any buildings of that style there.
