It's time to get the yard in shape. It's been a harsh winter here in the Piedmont Triad area.
Between, snow, ice, high winds and standing water, many yards are a mess. First start by cleaning up all of the debris, like branches, leaves, old pine needles, etc.
Trim all of the dead branches and old growth, such as Liriope and ornamental grasses.
Put down lawn fertilizer and crabgrass/weed control and lime if needed.
Finally, some new mulch or pine needles. It's still a bit early for planting most flowers, so wait for the last "freeze" date.
Whether putting your home on the market or not, these simple things will give your home great curb appeal.
