The Plano Library needs your books, CDs, DVDs and videos now for their annual Friends of the Plano Public Library Book Sale in July.  Donations of gently-used books, CD's, DVD's, audiotapes, videotapes, records and magazines.  Items can be dropped off at the Plano Library locations below.  Tax receipts are available for donations.  All proceeds from the annual sale are used by the Friends of the Plano Public Library to support library programs and services, touching all segments of our community.


Library Book Sale donation sites:

Haggard Library, 2501 Coit Road
Davis Library, 7501-B Independence Parkway
Parr Library, 6200 Windhaven Parkway

Everyone has extra books, DVDs and videos at home and this is a great way to kick start your Spring cleaning and help the community.

At the book sale on July 12-14 at the Plano Centre, you will have the opportunity to look at over 150,000 items.  Normally, hardback books, audios, videos, CD's and DVD's are only $1.50 and paperbacks are 75 cents!  The bonus is that no sales tax is charged for Book Sale purchases!

The book sale is this week.  The sale will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Plano Centre on 2000 E. Spring Pkwy., with tickets costing $5 for individuals or $10 for families. Admission is free from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

They had between 75,000 - 100,000 books donated so you have plenty to look through.
