Being an island community, we have our fair share of residents that choose to live on the water. And then there are some who choose to live in the water-on a houseboat. I can only imagine what an interesting lifestyle that would be. There's the incessant rocking of the boat, which would take forever to get used to, you'd probably drop things in the water on a daily basis, and the maintenance on the boat would be a constant chore. But on the plus side, there is a laundry mat on shore where you can get your clothes cleaned, the sunsets would be incredible (not to mention 4th of July fireworks), and anytime you wanted to take a fishing trip, all you'd have to do is get out of bed and go!
