About six years ago we visualized moving in 2 or 3 years, so we started out to redecorate our home. We replaced all the carpet on the main level & freshly painted each room with the current rich earth tones. We bought new living room furniture and had a cozy sitting area of love seat, sofa and two high back green leather chairs placed in a U-shape, using the fireplace as the focal point. We enjoyed the new decor tremendously for the next two years.
When we started to market our home, a couple came along and fell in love with our great room decor and even asked us to leave the new green leather chairs - - of course, we had to decline since we would need chairs at our next home. After the buyers moved in, we were invited to visit their "new" home at one point. Upon entering the great room we discovered they had completely re-constructed our little cozy great room sitting area right down to their "new" green leather chairs.
